Its awsome for those giving bad reviews dont know how to hang it. That bracket defitnatly supports 83 all day its you wall constrution or placement thats horrible. I can prove it I have my tv up now for two years and if I wanted to hang off it I can. For one you must anchor it off studs not sheet rock thats what you people are doing. If you cant find to beam close enough like I did and wanted it centered than opener wall its Sheetrock no bight I placed a 2x6 cut to size to fit between the studs I wanted fixed the cut compound and paint and bolted it like it was meant to be. N problem. If lg will like pics of it to post how good the product is np I will. 200lbs tv sorry only an idiot will think sheet rock will hold it. Now I went extrem you can use 1/4 inch wood and it will work like that to.

I agree with those who are complaining that it will not reach the 24 spaced wall studs WHICH IS CODE FOR INTERIOR WALLS at least in Florida. Can you provide a phone number or email instead of the address to contact you if you have some solution. I am thinking that maybe I can attach this bracket to a metal bar that can span across the studs. You need to find a solution for this our you will continue to have dissatisfied customers. Also this form is crap since you now are REQUIRING me to add OPTIONAL fields. Come on man

Got a new 83 OLED tv over the weekend and this mount came with. Says it supports up to 83 tvs but it absolutely does not. One side of the mount pulled completely out of the wall and left two gaping holes after hooking up the tv. Dont risk messing up your walls or your tv falling. This does NOT support a larger tv. My husband is general contractor and has hung hundreds of mounts thankfully he knows how to patch the drywall. But this mount definitely did not hold up to the task.

What a poor design for the US market. First off I have 24 studs not 16 that this is designed for. Moreover my studs are 4 off center. This device cannot accommodate 24 studs nor does it allow any left-right adjustments when put on the wall. Also it only weighs 2.5 pounds. Sheesh Im supposed to have confidence in my 100+ TV on that? It is completely unusable The design is so poor Im really wondering how LG can make any good products - getting a decent wall mount together is much easier to building a great TV. Very disappointed.

Probably the worst experience Ive encountered in a long time. I purchased a 83 TV over Memorial Day weekend from LG and it took forever to arrive. Customer Service didnt help at all. A total Joke. No Customer Service No one knows anything about anything. The TV came with Free shipping and Free installation. LG uses Angie-Handy for installs. I dont think there is a company as bad as them. TV was installed out of level not centered above fireplace loose bracket and the TV is hanging so far from the top that it looks like its going to fall. I rescheduled to have a REDO and they never showed. I must have called emailed or sent text messages at least 50 times.

Not designed to mount to a wall into studs the holes are barely wide enough to hit 16 studs and that is the weakest spot on the mount with super thin sheet metal. It offerrs zero flexibility of placement on the wall basically wherever those 2 studs may be is the center of you tv. Then you open the instructions and it literally says only designed to be mounted in concrete.. I dont know many homes that have concrete in their living room.. super disappointed I picked this tv because it came with a mount.
