Great quality product

I searched many remote controls on line that say they replace the original remote that came with my OLED -LG tv but after reading their reviews that werent very good I went to the LG site and reviewed what LG said was a true replacement remote for my TV. The remote was pricier than all others reviewed by anywhere from $30 to $50 but I knew if it was coming straight from LG it would be backed by LG and would be a high quality product. The remote came as scheduled and is solid You can tell by the way it feels in your hand and how it responds / operates that it is made to high standards. Connectivity to my TV was near automatic. I just had to select YES when the TV acknowledged the remote and asked if I wanted to link the remote to the TV. Simple set-up Operates perfectly and responds quickly. Im glad I paid the extra amount compared to other remotes out their to get a legitimate LG remote control.

Finally a compatible remote for OLED55C6P

My kids destroyed the original remote. Been through about 5 other remotes including used LG remotes and several generic remotes from Amazon. They either partially functioned or not at all. This one paired up in 5 seconds with my OLED55C6P and functions exactly as the original did including the pointer function and wheel. Do yourself a favor and stick with OEM. Youll save a lot of frustration.

Poorly Made Wheel

The wheel on this remote is poorly designed and breaks after minor use. There are also compatibility issues with my TV even though it matches the model I have.

Didnt work with the tv

I bought this because it was the replacement model for the remote that came with the TV. This was the second remote I bought and now none of the remotes work with the TV. So this leads me to think LG Tv has gone bad. We bought the expensive LG TV last year maybe 18 months ago. Kind of disappointed in the LG line up of products. Looks like I will be in the market for another tv.
